Waite Cemetery is located on Waite Cemetery Road in the eastern portion of Shaftsbury, Vermont. This bucolic site, surrounded by farmland, is located atop a small hill at the foot of East Mountain. Established in 1825 it encompasses 2.3 acres and currently is comprised of approximately 700 gravesites.

If you have a special photo of a relative who is buried in one of our cemeteries, you can email it to the Cemetery Superintendent for inclusion online. This will allow family and friends to remember your loved one even after they are gone.
