General Cemetery Rules
- Cemetery Hours: Sunrise until sunset
- Growing Season: March 1st until November 2nd
- No burials on holidays, Holy Days of Obligation, and important days in the Catholic Church
- No pets outside of a vehicle at any time
- No driving on the grass
- No littering
- No dumping non-cemetery garbage in cemetery dumpsters
- No cookouts/picnics on consecrated ground
- No loud music
- All headstones/monuments and plants are only permitted on the grave(s) for which you possess rights to bury. Cemetery not responsible for damage that occurs to headstones no matter how the damage occurs.
- Headstones/monuments cannot be placed without approval of the office
- One (real or artifical) wreath is permitted on each grave from November 3rd-February 28th. This can be on a stand or attached to the monument.
- One veteran medallion is permitted on each veteran grave
- Flags are permitted on graves for Memorial Day. Flags are removed after flag day (June 14th) if not picked up by family prior.
- Flags and medallions must be by the monument at the head of the grave, or else they will be removed
No artificial decorations (besides a wreath in the non-growing season listed above) including, but not limited to:
- Shepherds hooks
- Solar lights
- Trophies
- Pictures
- Candles
- Trinkets
- Plastic or metal fencing
- Bricks or stones (besides headstones)
- Beverage containers
Planting Regulations
- Plants may only be planted on graves you purchased. Plants are permitted within 12 inches of the headstone (usually on the west side of each grave). Plants may be planted during the growing season. Any plants remaining at the end of the growing season may be removed (unless perennials). Perennials will be trimmed down if not trimmed by families prior to the end of the growing season. Any plants not well cared for will be removed. No trees or shrubs may be planted without prior approval.
