In 1874, Congregation B’nai Israel purchased a five acre site at Oakland Fraternal Cemetery under the guidance of Fredrick Kramer, a Temple member and Little Rock Mayor. The congregation purchased more land in 1902 and 1926, expanding the cemetery to 9.5 acres. In 2010, Oakland Cemetery was added to the National Register of Historic Places and a cell phone listening tour was made available.

Spring, Summer and Fall: 7:00 am – 5:30 pm

Winter: 7:00 am – 5:00 pm

7 Days per week, including all holidays


Cemetery Office hours are Monday through Friday – 8:30 am – 4:30 pm
